The Dotted Half Notes
The dotted half notes is a performance group that was
started in 2007 as a gold project. This year it will continue under the
direction of Teresa Peters. Girls from all over Westchester and Putnam get
together twice a month to practice (usually Sundays from 4:00-5:30pm) and then
perform throughout the area in special Girl Scout events like FDR and at other
various centers such as nursing homes. It is a great opportunity for girls
looking for service hours! Teresa is hoping to build this group and eventually
be ready to participate in a Music in the Parks Festival. The Dotted Half Notes
is open to all registered Girls Scouts whether you are in an active troop or
not. Our first meeting will be in the Board Room at the Pleasantville Girl
Scout Center on Sunday, September 21, 2008 from 4:00-5:30pm. After October our
practices will be on selected Sundays from 4:00-5:30 in cabin "A" at Rock Hill.
