T-Shirt Contest

We are very excited about K-Day!  We would like to clarify some points about the schedule for the day.  Each troop/team will be given a one hour time slot.  This will be the time of their game or clinic.  We will start the day at 9:00 with Daisy troops, Brownies follow in the morning, Juniors around midday and Cadettes in the afternoon.  These times are all approximate and will be determined by registrations.  Please plan to spend extra time so that each girl can plant a flower to help build our memorial garden.  In addition, we will have concessions, crafts, music, face painting, etc.  We suggest an extra 30-45 minutes either before or after your team time slot. 

 

There will be blankets set out for picnicking. We will also have as many extra gloves as we can round up but girls are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.  Girls can purchase snacks and drinks but might want to bring a water bottle.

 

Girls should decorate the team t-shirts they will receive before the game.  We will judge the t-shirts (in categories to be announced when girls receive shirts) thoughout the day.  Prizes will be given at the dedication ceremony before the big Scout-Leader game at the end of the day.  This time will be based on the number of registrants and will be anounced when we give you your t-shirts and schedule.  We would like to have as many girls and leaders and/or parents come to the ceremony and stay as spectators for the game as possible.  Plan on having a hot dog and some snacks.  The ceremony and game will take no longer than 90 minutes.
